OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine which incorporates the relationship between structure and function in the treatment of a wide variety of complaints. Osteopaths utilise hands-on techniques which are applied to the joints, fascia, muscles and the soft tissues of the body to affect and improve the functions of the nervous, circulatory, lymphatic and musculoskeletal systems. Osteopathic medicine understands the intricate connection between all components of the body and mind and uses this as the foundation for successful treatment. Osteopathic treatment is safe for all ages and most conditions such as neck and back pain, headaches, arthritic complaints, lumbo-pelvic dysfunction, TMJ pain, sciatica, carpel tunnel, menstrual problems, postural pain syndromes, sports injuries, pregnancy pain and whiplash.
